Kurayoshi Figure Museum is a sacred place for figures in Kurayoshi City, Tottori Prefecture. There are many figurines of dinosaurs, animals, anime heroes and popular characters on display there. Tottori Prefecture is known as the birthplace of the creators of the famous Manga GeGeGe no Kitaro (ゲゲゲの鬼太郎) and Detective Conan (名探偵コナン), and has a thriving manga culture. This museum is a three-story building and there are different exhibits on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors.

1st floor, special exhibition

This museum is originally an elementary school that has been renovated. For this reason, scenes from past elementary schools and school lunches are also on display. There are old textbooks in the desk, and materials from past independent research are posted on the walls. The scenery with the blackboard and chalk is just like an old elementary school, and it gives you a nostalgic feeling.
